PARISH PLAN - Questionnaires have now been delivered to every parishioner and will be collected within the next few days. This questionnaire will provide important information for the production of the Parish Plan which will be ready, hopefully, by early 2005. In the meantime there will be more opportunities for parishioners to have their say at meetings, which will be held throughout this year.
CHURCH RESTORATION APPEAL - The Wildflower Walk was held at Leinthall Earles and Gatley on Sunday, April 25, which was one of the rare, recent sunny days and was really well supported with approximately 100 people taking part in one way or another. Volunteers provided refreshments and in all over £1,000 was raised. Everyone who makes a purchase at Aymestrey House Garden Centre next Wednesday, will be supporting the Restoration Appeal, as a proportion of the takings for that day will be donated to the fund. The next event in support of the appeal will be a Sunday lunch to be held in a marquee in the grounds of The Old Vicarage, Aymestrey. The July event will be a Progressive Supper on Saturday, July 3. Tickets for this are £12, and are available from Meg Thorpe on 01568 780384.
