THE beer is flowing again at The Bell in Bosbury after it re-opened under new management. Developing the food side of the business is a key priority for the pub's new landlord, Martyn Newsome, who was formerly a chef at The Fox in Oddington.
But Mr Newsome has not been in the pub trade all his life. During his time in the Royal Navy he was valet to Prince Charles, when the prince served as a sub-lieutenant on HMS Tenby in the early 70s. "He was a very nice person," he said.
Mr Newsome is running the business with the help of Australian bar manager Lawton Davidson and French restaurant manager Stephanie Masquelier.
