PEARL Briggs has been re-elected as Bromyard Town Council chairman and mayor for a second year.
John Lane was also re-elected as deputy chairman.
Councillors at Monday's meeting meeting also agreed to peg the mayor's annual allowance at £1,200.
In addition, members decided to fund one civic reception, held after the civic service, per two-year term, if the finance committee approves a budget for the event.
The council will also pay travelling expenses for the mayor to attend civic functions on behalf of the town, at a rate of 40p per mile.
Coun Briggs announced her civic service would take place on Sunday, June 20, and would be a festival of music and dance.
As she funded the reception last year, the town council will pay for this year's event.
