THE Leadon Valley Crib League had its finals and presentation evening to close the season at the Royal British Legion Club, Ledbury.
The results were as follows: League winners Ring of Bells, Runners-up Newtown Inn. Jubilee Cup winners Bell Inn, Runners-up Talbot Hotel. Team KO Cup Newtown Inn, Runners-up Fir Tree Inn. Pairs KO Cup Brewery Inn (S Salvage & S Porter), Runners-up Newtown Inn (D Davis & B Chadney). Singles KO Cup Bell Inn (E Kerr), Runner-up Cross Keys Inn (J Hawkins).
The trophies were awarded to the successful teams and players by Mrs Jan Elliot, staff nurse at Ledbury Community Hospital.
Graham Gwynne, the league's chairman, presented a cheque for £1,007 to Mrs Elliot, raised from the 2003 Summer Hospital Cup competition.
