MORE than 100 vintage cars will be on show at Newent Community School on June 19-20.
The Bristol Austin 7 Club has chosen the Watery Lane venue for a rally and large crowds are expected.
Other vintage cars apart from Austins are likely to roll up and Newent man David Bick, of Market Square, will be polishing up his MG 1440, which dates form 1928, to make sure it is looking its best.
Mr Bick, 74, a member of the Early MG Club and the Vintage Sports Car Club, bought the car in 1962 for the princely sum of £50.
More than 40 years on, the car is a regular at vintage car rallies. Mr Bick recently attended a rally in North Wales.
"It still goes along," he said.
