IT was a memorable weekend for a number of local cricketers who passed the three-figure mark in Sunday fixtures.
Burghill & Tillington's batsman Oliver Cross was undoubtedly the youngest of these, cracking an undefeated 100 as his side beat Luctonians Royals in the under-11 section of the Herefordshire Youth League.
Almeley's Nick Raybould compiled a maiden century with his unbeaten 120 helping the villagers to an impressive 208-2 against Clyro & Llowes.
Raybould then showed his talents with ball, returning 3-8 to support Rob Williams (5-20) as Clyro were dismissed for 84.
Ed Rollings also completed a maiden century for Dales with his unbeaten 137 to take the Leominster-based side to a five-wicket Catley Staite League Division 1 victory over Goodrich, despite a fine innings of 161 by J Willetts.
Chris Chadd's undefeated 103 was central to Dales' 149-run victory over Moccas while Ian Morgan completed his first ton of the season, making 101 for Monmouth who beat Monkswood by 43 runs.
Steve Emery's 102 for Eastnor in the first round of the Advantage Business Supplies Marches League Cup went without reward, however, as teenagers Tim Boulter (89 not out) and Matt Shaw (63 not out) guided Wormelow to a nine-wicket win.
