ST MARY'S CHURCH - A group service will be held at Ivington on Sunday, May 30, at 10am
VILLAGE SHOW - Chairman Brigadier John Spackman reported to the committee that the show had raised £2,900, which will be given to local charities. The show's success was due to the sunshine, generous sponsors, supporters and visitors and to Julie and Elwyn Hanson for the venue. Advanced publicity gained by two seventy-foot high rabbits etched, by land artist Simon English, into farmer Jim Lewis's hillside meadow overlooking the village helped increase the number of visitors. Cheques to the benefiting charities will be presented on June 9 at the Crown Inn at 8pm.
