Herefordshire Select 1 Penzance 1
THERE was little to choose between two well-matched sides.
Herefordshire started brightly and forced the tourists to defend with a series of slick passing moves, but failed to score.
Penzance gradually came back into the game and Herefordshire goalkeeper Jamie Duncan made a couple of excellent saves. The hosts made some tactical changes during the interval and again had the tourists on the back foot with some crisp attacks, finally scoring when a cross from Peter Williams was deflected to Mike Boulton who fired home.
But it was the tourists who finished the stronger and deservedly equalised.
