APPLICATIONS are being invited from artists countywide to take part in a miniworks festival of art at The Courtyard this summer.
Work should be no larger than a £20 note, with an open choice of theme.
There are five categories, and GCSE and A-level students from the county are especially encouraged to start planning their entries.
"The Courtyard galleries present artists with a big space to fill," said chief executive Martyn Green, "and the work on show is normally large."
Artists should deliver one piece of work to the venue between July 14-19, and the winners will be chosen on July 23. The exhibition will run August 13-September 20.
The work can be two or three dimensional, in any medium or mixed media, mounted (if applicable), and framed in plain wood or black.
The outside dimensions, including the frame, should be 14.8cm x 21cm. The deadline for submissions is June 18.
