A Newent-based company can enjoy seeing its work on the big screen, having made armour and props for the Warner blockbusters Troy and Alexander.
Armordillo Design and Construction Ltd made 100 suits of ancient Greek-style armour for Troy, which stars Brad Pitt as the warrior Achilles.
In addition the firm made 70,000 elaborate "bronze" armour plates, all using the resin technology that it pioneered
The company also made ceiling panels and two thrones for the Oliver Stone epic Alexander.
The business is no stranger to big movie contracts, having already made armour and props for Gladiator and the TV mini-series Band of Brothers.
