Church is joining with Kingsland Church to hold a Casserole and Crumble lunch on Sunday. It will take place in Kingsland Church from 12noon to 2pm. Donations of at least £7 per person are suggested.
Women's Institute - Leinthall Earles and Aymestrey WI is holding a coffee morning in aid of the Tsunami Appeal on Saturday, January 29, in Aymestrey Village Hall at 11am. There will be a cake stall, book stall and a bring and buy stall and there will also be a prize draw.
Village Hall Committee - A dance will be held in the village hall in aid of The Tsunami Appeal on Friday, February 11, at 8pm till 12midnight. Country Boy will supply music. There will be a licensed bar and refreshments will be available. Tickets are £3.50 and are available from Aymestrey House Garden Centre and from committee members.
Post Box - Locals are pleased to see the return of their village post box which was removed when the village shop was closed some months ago and building work commenced to turn it into a house. The post box is now situated in the village hall car park.
