KINGSTONE & Thruxton Primary School will represent Hereford United in the South-Western regional finals of the under-11 Kelloggs Frosties Cup in Bristol after winning the Herefordshire title.

Wigmore and Ashfield Park battled their way through to the county final after a round-robin competition also involving Pembridge and Pencombe.

Nathan Harding's goal decided the title in favour of Kingstone and Thruxton who were also indebted to some fine goalkeeping by David Harris and a couple of goalline clearances to see them through.

They will now face 12 other schools representing, among others, Plymouth Argyle, Southampton and the two Bristol clubs, to bid for a place in the final which takes place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on FA Cup Final day.
