Top three pull away in under-15 race

Wellington's convincing 6-0 win at Wigmore, Bartestree's 4-1 result at Leominster Minors, and Hereford Junior Dyna-mo's 3-1 victory over Ross Juniors adds to the belief that it will be one of these teams who will claim the championship.

Lads Club Under-16 travelled to Hay St Mary's with two of their players unavailable because of selection for the county under-18 squad and still managed a convincing win to remain top at the top.

But Pegasus Juniors certainly have not given up hope of overcoming them and made their intentions known with a 3-1 win over Lads Club Rovers.

Bartestree, in third place, were made to work hard for a 4-2 win over Fownhope.

The Under-14 Division championship looks to be between Phoenix or Leominster Minors, both teams gaining maximum points over the weekend.

Certainly three of the six play-off places have been claimed in the Under-13 Division and any one of four teams could join them if they obtain the right results.

MLC, with games in hand, remain favourites, Orleton/Woofferton and Ledbury Swifts being the other better-placed teams.

In the Under-12 Division Ledbury Swifts, Lads Club and Phoenix Milan have claimed their play-off places but mid-table Hereford City Sports, who have games in hand over their main rivals, could still claim the fourth place.

Under-11 Division MLC have the advantage if they are to make the section's sixth play-off place. But they will need maximum points from three of their games in hand if they are to pip Hereford Junior Dynamo, who recorded a fine 4-0 win over third-placed Lads Club.

With Ross Juniors and Leominster Minors almost certain of their play-off places in the Under-10 Division, any two of six teams might join them. Kington Town could ill afford their loss of points at third-placed Dynamo Bartestree but, with games in hand, are still favourites for the fourth place.

Greyhound City Sports are way out in front in the Under-9 Division and are certain to make the play-offs but any one of six teams could join them.
