Bromyard Town 4

Pelsall Villa 1

BROMYARD continued their good form of recent West Midlands League Premier Division matches, and this time converted chances to claim a comfortable victory.

They dominated from the off and, after going close on a couple of occasions, deservedly took the lead in the 28th minute when a Carl Fairhurst free-kick to the far post was headed in by Dan Hilditch.

Minutes later they extended the lead when Fairhurst collected a loose ball in the box to swivel and volley an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net.

It was much the same after the break with Villa hardly able to get out of their own half after being denied possession by their dominant hosts.

On the hour, Adie Crowther broke away from his marker to sprint clear and slide goal number three under the advancing goalkeeper. Not to be outdone, his brother Andy showed good skill to collect a left-wing cross from James Banks, side-step a challenge and then rifle a shot into the bottom corner.

With the game won Bromyard relaxed, allowing Pelsall to make a late flurry and bag a consolation goal.
