THERE was a Champagne surprise for Hereford Times sports writer Ian Morgan when he arrived at the Hereford United bus to travel to Northwich on Tuesday.
For it was to be Ian's last report on the Bulls - for some time at least - and Graham Turner was on hand with a bottle of bubbly from the club to mark his 27 months of covering club matches and events.
Ian is transferring from the sports desk to news reporting duties at the Hereford Times, while Richard Prime switches from the sub-editors' room to sport with special attention to United.
Ian's United reporting ended with a 5-1 win at Northwich and he still intends to follow the Bulls in their championship bid.
