Hereford United are setting their sights on eighth place in the Nationwide Conference, according to Director of Football Graham Turner.

The Bulls, who entertain lowly Kingstonian tonight (7.45), have had spirits revived by Saturday's 3-1 win over leaders Rushden and Diamonds.

A top eight spot would see United qualify for next season's LDV Vans Trophy, and Turner said: "We would like to go unbeaten for the rest of the season, and the target now is eighth place.

"To be honest I don't think the Rushden game was very much different from the first-half performance against Forest Green in the Trophy - the difference was that we put our chances away."

Midfielder Ian Rodgerson may return to the starting line-up after suspension. On-loan Wolves youngster Seamus Crowe could also start.

Kingstonian may have reached the fourth round of the FA Cup but they have struggled in the league and Turner said: "I would think they would have to come here and win to have any chance of survival. Their position surprises me considering the quality of their squad."
