Hereford United started their campaign in the Midland Floodlit Under-18 Youth League with a convincing 7-1 victory at Cinderford Town.
Striker Richard Harrison grabbed a first-half hat-trick for Hereford, while Chris Mortlock, skipper Simon Gwilliam, Paul Brown and Adam Kite also contributed towards the rout.
United are away to Bromyard Town tonight.
