IT was a good week for teams at the wrong end of the table in Hereford Snooker League.
The best result came from Flukey Few who beat third-placed Reds, with A Westacott and P Gray winning well.
At the top, Potting Shed M broke clear in the race for runners-up spot with a demolition of clubmates Potting Shed A. Adrian Manning won on the black and there was a good win for Phil Merritt.
Leaders Potting Shed Z suffered another defeat at home to WTC, N Charman, M Oliver and D Jones doing the damage.
Conmen had a good win against Railway, Geoff Lisseman being the only winner for the away team, and Police A had a solid win at Farmers, Anthony Jackson, with a 38 break, and John Williams again winning for the home side.
Andy Gray had a 53 break for Miller Boys who won at Legionaires, while Brett Rigby had a 25 clearance to win his frame for the Leominster team.
Q Tips gave themselves a chance of avoiding the wooden spoon with a hard-fought win at Military B, captain Mike Williams and John Bradford joining G Evans as the winners.
The presentation night will be at the Military Club on Tuesday, April 26 at 7.30pm.
