DRAMA - The first production of the newly formed Astdrams was performed to a packed audience in Aston Ingham Village Hall last Saturday evening. The one act play, Last Tango in Aston Ingham, is all about a village amateur dramatic group which is not very good, and is facing the sad business of having to close through lack of support. Fortunately for the Astdrams, judging by their reception on Saturday, such a fate is not going to befall them. The play was performed during a theatre supper, with the first course being enjoyed before the performance and the dessert following it. The members of the cast of four were Rosemary Blanche, Francine Burns, Mike Byers and Roger Spragg with Vanessa Whitney-Hart producing and directing, Stephen Burns on lighting and sound and Margaret \Watson as prompt. There are already demands for a follow up and the play does have a sequel, which will be staged later in the year.
