PARTY - A thank you party, in the form of a bring and share, for Mary Jones is to be held on Saturday at 12 noon at Much Birch Hall. Mary Jones has been the organist of Much Birch Church for well over 40 years and has now had to retire. Mary also taught piano to more than 300 children, some of which had made music their career. Anyone who remembers Mary is more than welcome to come along to celebrate the retirement of this very special person.
CONCERT - A Tale of Two Churches, a history of St John the Baptist and Christ Church will be celebrated in music and song by Annabel Molyneaux, a mezzo soprano and Peter Cowdrey, piano and trombone. The concert is to be held in Christ Church on Saturday commencing at 7.15pm and tickets can be obtained on 01981 540668 or 01981 540825. Ticket price includes wine refreshment during the interval.
