FOLLOWING many successful years of stepping up to the oche, Frank Evans announced his retirement at the Ledbury Town Darts League presentation night on Thursday at Ledbury Town Football Club.
After 50 years of playing darts in the local leagues, Frank has decided to retire from playing. He was presented with a carriage clock by the league chairperson Olive Bramley and vice-chairman Mike Greening.
Frank had a successful final season, being a team member of the Bell A, which won the league title and the fours' knockout competition. He also won the mixed pairs' with Jackie Jenkins.
