THE new High Sheriff of Hereford and Worcester is estate agent Andrew Grant .
He was inducted into the role, which lasts a year at Hereford magistrate court.
Although largely ceremonial, it involves looking after visiting Royals and judges.
He takes over from James Nicholas, a businessman from Much Marcle.
Mr Grant (left), who lives at Bransford Manor, near Worcester, supports a number of charities including the St Richard's Hospice.
