DILWYN sculler Daniel Middleton has won a place at the English Regional Rowing Cham-pionships Finals.
Early season wins at Stourport, Avon and Gloucester have earned the young oarsman an entry for the prestigious event at Nottingham on Sunday, May 17.
Middleton will compete in the single sculls event as the junior-14 London and Lower Thames representative by virtue of his Tideway Scullers membership.
Twelve English regions will contest the finals, which will be fought out over a six-lane course.
