LINE DANCING - The parish hall on Friday, is the venue for line dancing. Times are 7.30pm to 9.30pm, £2 per session.

COFFEE MORNING - On Saturday, April 16, our regular village coffee morning takes place in the parish hall, 10.30am till noon. There will be a bring and buy stall and local Fairtrade representative Jenny Faize will also be there selling a wide range of food and drink, beautiful and unusual gifts from around the world and the latest clothes from the Fairtrade range. Ledbury is on course to becoming a Fairtrade town and the steering group are planning to declare it at the Ledbury festival on May 1. CHURCH SERVICES - At Holy Trinity Bosbury, on Sunday, April 17, Holy Communion is at 8am, followed at 10am by children's church.

ANNUAL MEETING - Bosbury Bowls and Tennis Club hold their AGM in the parish hall on Thursday, April 21, at 7.30pm. All welcome, especially new members.

FLICKS IN THE STICKS - On Saturday, April 30, as part of the Borderlines Film Festival Flicks in the Sticks, Bosbury with a screening of Two Men Went to War. There will also be a 10 minute short before the main feature entitled The Dawn Guard, shot in Eardisland in 1941 and stars Bernard Miles. The films are a special promotion for the forthcoming Flower Festival Weekend May 19-22, which is based on Bosbury, The War Years and Bosbury - The Home Front. The weekend starts with a nostalgic concert and ration book supper in the parish hall and a two-day Flower Festival in Holy Trinity. Other attractions in the village that weekend include an arts and crafts exhibition, plant stall, Bosbury - The War Years exhibition of local memoirs bell ringing and organ recitals. Refreshments will be on sale on both days in the parish hall and the festival will conclude at 6.30pm, on Sunday with a Festival Songs of Praise.

TRADITIONAL events - Two more traditional events take place in the village on Sunday May 1, At 11am, a Rogation Service in the grounds of Bosbury house and later from 2pm to 4.30pm a fund raising Bluebell Walk through the Bosbury House woods. Do bring your family and friends for a real Springtime treat. Refreshments on sale and ample parking.
