HEREFORD notched their third successive home draw in the Football League Youth Alliance Merit Table after being held at home by Swansea.

Neither goalkeeper was seriously troubled in a match which saw few serious chances created at either end.

For Hereford, the four-man defence of Kane Kahaki, Lewis Jones, Mark Smith and Paul Allam did well to restrain the visitors' attack, rarely allowing them opportunities to get within striking range.

While the Hereford attack was also subdued in the first period, there were a couple of chances to break the deadlock after the interval.

Adam Worton fired wide when put through down the left but Tom Harding was guilty of the worst miss, failing to get any power in a left-foot shot when in a clear scoring position.
