WALL REBUILDING - Lottery money is helping to pay for the restoration of a churchyard wall knocked down by a car at Whitney-on-Wye. Rebuilding the wall will be on Saturday and Sunday and anyone interested in dry-stone walling is invited to take part. There are still some places available and professional dry stone walling instructor Terry Mead will be supervising. Volunteer co-ordinator Hilary Smith said walls were of historic importance and were wonderful wildlife habitats. Call Caring for God’s Acre on 07967 888612 or 01568 611154.
