NORTH county residents have complained to police after receiving nuisance telephone calls.
Householders have been subjected to unpleasant calls from a man using a withheld number.
Anyone experiencing similar problems are being advised to immediately contact their telephone provider following the call so an attempt to trace the number can be made.
Those using BT can call 0800 661 441 to either receive a code number to enter after such a call or block withheld numbers from calling their phone.
All calls should also be reported to police.
