THE partner of late Leominster pawnbroker George Black has been charged with conspiring to cause his murder.
Sylvia Smith, aged 21, appeared before magistrates in Telford to be remanded in custody.
Smith, of Cherrybrook Close, Hope-under-Dinmore, is charged with conspiring to murder Mr Black at his home in Bucknall last month.
She is also charged with perverting the course of justice.
Smith is due to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on February 2.
Two men from Shobdon have been charged with the murder of 41-year-old Mr Black who died from burns after a fire at his home.
Two more people have charged with perverting the course of justice.
