A MAN and a woman were airlifted to hospital early this morning after a collision near Ross-on-Wye.

Paramedics were called after a one-vehicle crash happened between junction four and five of the M50 at around 4.45am.

Ambulance spokesperson John Hawker said: “A man and a woman, both in their 20s were treated at the scene for neck and back injuries. Both were immobilised using spinal boards and neck collars and transferred to Gloucester Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
