ORGANISERS of the yearly firework display in Kington have thanked Recreation Ground trustees who let them hold it there by making a donation towards its upkeep.
Tony Price MBE of the Bonfire and Fireworks Committee presented chairman John Grant with a cheque for £100 at the Annual beneficiaries and Users meeting recently.
Mr Grant thanked the trust for allowing them to use the ground ahead of the annual bonfire’s 40th anniversary this year.
