WORK by Patrick Boyd, an artist and photographer who has gained an international reputation for his holograms, can currently be seen at Hereford College of Arts.
Awarded a Fulbright Fellowship at the Museum of Holography in New York in 1989, Patrick decided that he would attempt to use holography as a documentary medium, recording events and scenes that he found in everyday life.
“I started to experiment with combining holography and photography to make holographic stereograms (holograms generated using a series of photographic images),” he said. Patrick Boyd’s holograms can be seen until Friday, January 30. Call 01432 273359.
