POLICE have launched an appeal after vandals pushed a car onto its side in Leominster yesterday.

Pete Butcher, police press officer, said the owner of a red Fiat Panda parked his car in West Street between 5.50pm and 6pm.

When he returned 10 minutes later he found it had been pushed over, causing damage to the driver’s door and wing mirror.

Police are keen to trace three men seen in the area at the time who were all wearing black suits, black shoes and white shirts.

Meanwhile a car was damaged in the town on Thursday January 8.

The owner of the blue Vauxhall Omega parked it outside the HSBC bank in Broad Street at around 9pm but when he returned an hour later he noticed a large dent in the rear nearside wing.

It is not believed to have been caused by another vehicle.

Anyone with any information regarding either incident should contact PC Laurie Smith on 0300 333 3000.
