NORTH county residents could enjoy better links with police in 2009 as officers consider bringing monthly meetings with the public to those in more rural areas.
Partners and Communities Together (PACT) gatherings are already held in central towns like Kington for locals to express their concerns but visits to outer areas such as Weobley could also be introduced.
Other organisations such as Herefordshire Council are also often represented to discuss issues such as anti-social behaviour, speeding and any other problems arising.
The next Kington meet will take place at Lady Hawkins Leisure Centre on February 11 from 7pm onwards.
