FREEMASONS on the Welsh border have given a local show committee a great start to the New Year by donating £260 to the cause.
Members of Teme Lodge masons collected the cash at their December meeting before presenting it to organisers of Knighton Show and Carnival.
Worshipful Master Bob Terry and past master John Wood, who handed over the cheque, were thanked by committee chairman Chris Brandford for their generous donation.
