BROMYARD civic figures are planning a day of light entertainment in the run-up to Christmas.
Plans for this year’s Christmas Lights switch-on have been unveiled by Bromyard & Winslow Town Council.
This year’s event on November 22 will follow a day of activities taking place at the public hall and heritage centre.
The Bromyard in Bloom Committee will provide big breakfasts at 8.30am at the hall, while the Tenbury Town Band will play carols and music during a bazaar in the Heritage Centre from 10am to 3pm.
Queen Elizabeth Humanities College are holding an annual pudding tasting in the hall from 3pm, while Father Christmas’ sleigh will leave the council offices for his grotto in the square at 2.30pm.The big switch-on takes place at 5.30pm.
