CHOIR – Bargoed Male Voice Choir will be giving a concert in St Mary’s Church on Saturday, October 25. Following the concert the choir will move to the village hall to provide further entertainment.
CRICKET CLUB – Almeley Cricket Club wishes to thank all members of the 100 Club for their continued support and also local residents who have given generous donations to the fund. Prize winners in July were: John Mokler £30, Mandy Jones £20 and Peter Dunn £15. August winners were: Peter Weeks £100, Keith Duggan £50, Zoe Williams £30, and in September Eric Williams £30, D Griffiths £20 and Adrian Gale £15.
QUAKERS – The Society of Friends will be holding its annual coffee morning in the Meeting House at Almeley Wooton on Saturday, November 1, starting at 10am and running until 1pm. This event is in aid of the upkeep of the famous Grade II listed building.
