LEOMINSTER Town Council wants all new homes built in Herefordshire to have solar panels.
It is to ask county planners to encourage the developers to provide a minimum of one solar panel, a water butt, compost bin and dual-volume flushes on toilets.
The recommendation comes after the town council’s own planning committee considered a paper published by the Department for Communities and Local Government entitled Greener Homes for the Future.
