ORGANISERS of a Herefordshire event are calling on county businesses for sponsorship to enable them to move to a bigger location next year.
Dubstock - where Volkswagen fans get together and raise money for charity - has been running for four years, but has outgrown its Brimfield location.
When the event first started, it attracted 150 people, but this year, more than 800 people attended and raised £2,000 for Acorns Children’s Hospice and Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Volunteer, Nicola Hill said: “We have to move and we would like to relocate to Hereford Racecourse.
“But we need £2,500 for a deposit and all the money we raised at this year’s event was distributed between the charities and paid for services such as the toilets.”
To make a donation, contact Nicola on 01432 370071.
