THREE teams of county teenagers have missed out on places in the final of a national outdoor adventure challenge.
Teams from Lady Hawkins’ School, Kington, Weobley High School and Wyebridge Sports College, Hereford, scored highly in the regional heats of the 2008 Fieldfare Kielder Challenge, but fell short of winning one of 12 places in the Grand Final.
The event challenges teams of youngsters with and without physical, learning and sensory disabilities to work together on a variety of outdoor activities.
