We need your help! The next volunteer work day on the Merbach Commons is due to take place on Tuesday, July 10th. We will continue to build steps on a steep and slippery section of the path that leads up through the woodland in the north-eastern corner of the common. Plan to meet at 10:00 am at the entrance gate to the common next to Pendle Cottage (formerly Hicockolorum). Everyone is welcome to come along. No previous experience is required as training in the use of tools will be given. If you can only stay for a few hours, your efforts will make a difference! Please wear stout footwear and bring waterproofs in case of wet weather. A packed lunch and drink is also recommended.
