A STILE on a county footpath was destroyed at the weekend allowing ponies to escape into a neighbouring field.
Police were called to stables in Mill Lane, Credenhill on Sunday (May 18) and are investigating the incident as a criminal damage offence.
Police press officer Neil Tipton said all of the ponies were successfully rounded up the following day.
