THE countdown is on for a major Bonfire Night celebration in Hereford, with organisers revealing final details ahead of tonight's event.
The annual fireworks display will take place at The Quarry in Tupsley this evening (November 5), with gates opening at 5pm.
Alongside the fireworks, visitors can enjoy stalls and funfair rides, while money raised will support local community groups and charities.
Bus company Sargeants has confirmed it will operate shuttle buses to and from the event from 4.30pm. Buses will depart from the main car park behind Hereford's colleges on Folly Lane.
A spokesperson said: "Please keep our A and C routes clear and follow the advice given by the event with the Park and Ride or Park and Walk options."
Meanwhile, organisers from the Central Tupsley Community Group have reminded attendees to come prepared for the evening.
A spokesperson said: "Things to remember: torches or lanterns, warm coats, hats and gloves, and wellies or sensible shoes. Please park considerately or use the Park and Ride service.
"Bring plenty of change for the collection buckets, which are essential for helping us run future events.
"No sparklers. As lovely as they are, they belong at home and away from large crowds.
"Please keep well back from the fence, leave the Quarry quietly and use the bins provided or take your rubbish home.
"The Quarry belongs to us all, so let's look after it together as a community and respect everyone who uses it."
