A Hereford street will close overnight next month.

Friars Street will be closed to vehicles outside the entrance to Lord Scudamore School due to HFS installation work.

The closure will take place on November 16.

An alternative route is available via Barton Road, the A49, and Eign Street.

The closure is necessary to ensure public safety during the works.

The work is anticipated to be completed in one night.

However, the order will be in effect for a maximum period of 18 months, unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State if necessary.

For any queries regarding the closure, contact Herefordshire Council on 01432 261800 or visit herefordshire.gov.uk/contactus.
