Plans have been revealed for a pub in Herefordshire that has been closed for more than 20 years to potentially reopen.
The Cliffe Arms in Mathon, which has remained empty for over two decades, could soon see a revival with new owners at the helm.
The owners, who also reside in Mathon, aim to re-establish the pub as a "true community asset".
The pub, which has sat empty for over 20 years, has been owned by various individuals and organisations in this time.
The current owners have a business plan to give the pub a "robust commercial future".
The proposed renovations, detailed in a heritage statement accompanying the application, include maintaining the existing access to the pub, with the large car park at the rear.
A new entrance is set to be created at the side of the pub, while the existing front and rear entrances will remain unchanged.
The new entrance is intended to create more unity between the front bars and the dining area in the rear cider mill.
The entrance will have a level threshold, with a new accessible toilet to be formed in the lobby area.
The steps between the pub and cider mill are intended to be replaced with an accessible ramp to make the entire pub fully accessible.
The Cliffe Arms is located on the north side of the original road as it begins to curve south-eastwards towards the bridge.
