Light aircraft have been spotted flying above Herefordshire.
Jordon Gregory photographed several planes in the skies above Shobdon Airfield, located in Leominster.
Among those captured were a Cessna 172 Skyhawk and a Cessna 152, both widely recognised in the world of general aviation.
The Cessna 172 Skyhawk, first flown in 1955, is the most-produced aircraft in history, with more than 44,000 built.
It is renowned for its reliability, simplicity, and versatility, making it a popular choice for pilot training and recreational flying.
Powered by a piston engine and featuring a high-wing design, the Skyhawk is valued for its stability and ease of operation, particularly for student pilots.
It cruises at around 120 to 140 mph and has a range of approximately 640 miles.
The other aircraft pictured, the Cessna 152, is a two-seat, single-engine light aircraft introduced in 1977.
It quickly became one of the world’s most popular trainer aircraft, succeeding the Cessna 150.
Although production ended in 1985, thousands remain in service worldwide, and the aircraft continues to be regarded as one of the most dependable and accessible training aircraft ever built.
The 152 is known for its straightforward controls, durability, and low operating costs.
It cruises at around 121 mph and has a range of 475 miles.
