A woman has admitted to a string of shop thefts, with her haul of stolen goods worth more than £2,000.

Danielle McGee, 35, appeared at Herefordshire Magistrates' Court on September 3.

She pleaded guilty to five counts of theft from shops across Herefordshire.

The offences took place in Leominster and Hereford between June and July 2026.

On June 11, McGee stole gift sets worth £960 from Chave & Jackson in Hereford.

Just two days later, on June 13, she took items worth £35.75 from E G On The Move in Leominster.

On June 24, McGee targeted the B&Q store in Leominster, stealing goods valued at £549.

She then stole creams and perfume worth £296.26 from Leominster Pharmacy on July 4, followed by a further theft at the same pharmacy two days later, on July 6, when she took makeup, cosmetics, and perfumes valued at £290.78.

The total value of goods stolen across all five offences is more than £2,100.

McGee pleaded guilty to all five charges under section 1(1) and 7 of the Theft Act 1968.

The court heard that a pre-sentence report had been requested to help magistrates decide on an appropriate sentence.

McGee, who hails from Knighton, is due to be sentenced at Herefordshire Magistrates' Court on October 6 at 12pm.

The hearing is expected to last around 30 minutes and will take place in courtroom two at The Magistrates’ Court on Bath Street in Hereford.
