The Met Office has forecast an unsettled spell of weather for Hereford over the August bank holiday weekend.

Rain is expected to over the weekend, with conditions set to be at their best on Monday.

Friday, August 28 will see temperatures reaching around 22°C, with scattered rainfall expected.

A yellow thunderstorm warning is in place for parts of Herefordshire between midday and 9pm.

Saturday, August 29 is set to be cooler and wetter, with heavy rain likely in the morning and highs of around 21°C.

Conditions should improve later, although some rain could last throughout the day.

Saturday will see temperature lows near 15°C.

Sunday, August 30 will bring light rain showers from around midday, with temperatures potentially reaching 22°C.

Temperatures could fall to 15°C.

Monday, August 31 offers the most settled conditions, with partly sunny skies, a reduced chance of rain, and highs of around 17°C.

Temperatures could get as low as 13°C.

Overall, Hereford residents can expect a mixed weekend of showers and cloud, with Monday providing the best opportunity for outdoor plans.
