There are reports this morning that smoke has been seen rising into the sky near Hereford this morning.

What is happening in the area?
Fire engines have been seen heading down Stone Street from Madley, with a number seen filling up from a fire hydrant on the B4352.
It appears the fire in on the south side of the river Wye, near Eaton Bishop.
What have fire crews said?
A statement has not yet been released on this morning's fire. However, firefighters have asked that people only call if they see fire as drifting smoke from elsewhere has sparked a large number of calls in recent days.
Have businesses been affected because of the fire?
Sidney Phillips, an estate agency near the area, has said that its head office has been forced to close due to the blaze.
The company said: "Due to a fire close to our Head Office this morning, staff are unfortunately unable to access the property this morning.
"Our phone lines are therefore down, however, please do leave a message on our answer machine and a member of staff will get back to you as soon as possible."

What is happening now?
There are several firefighters at the scene of the blaze with the usually quiet country lanes dominated by fire engines.
There also remains a strong smell of smoke in the area as crews work to deal with the blaze.
Hoses have also been hooked up to a fire hydrant in Eaton Bishop as firefighters work at the scene.
A National Grid vehicle is also at the scene.
