A CLOSED riverside pub in a tourist hotspot is to be opened up to hopeful buyers tomorrow after "high demand".
The doors on the Wye Knot Inn in Symonds Yat near Ross-on-Wye are set to be opened tomorrow (Thursday, August 6) for a viewing day with agents Sidney Phillips between 11am and midday.
The centuries-old pub went on the market earlier this year with the agents for £325,000.
The pub, previously known as The Grove Inn, closed in January, according to CAMRA.
The agents said that for many years, the premises had been let on lease, and the tenant has now vacated.
"Historically, the inn was a successful trading outlet and could no doubt be re-established in the hands of an enthusiastic new owner," they added.

The agents have advised that the building, which includes a two-bedroom owners' accommodation, is in need of refurbishment.
The property also includes three en-suite letting bedrooms, a split-level main bar, and a restaurant seating up to 30.
Describing the outdoor area, the agents said: "To the front is an enclosed patio area which has ‘A’ framed picnic style seats and able to cater for up to 30 or so customers seated.
"There is hardstanding car parking with space for over 10 vehicles.
"In addition, adjacent to the main entrance, is a covered smoking area with seating. There is also a service compound for the storage of bins etc."
Interested parties have been asked to get in contact with Sidney Phillips to book their slot for the viewing day.
