A new documentary is shining a spotlight on the real-life impact of flooding in towns across the UK.

What Comes After the Flood, directed by Charli Willow and presented by Mothers Rise Up, will be shown at The Regal Cinema in Tenbury Wells on July 7, from 7pm to 9pm.

The film begins at 7.15pm and will be followed by a Q&A with contributors and residents.

It explores the effect of flooding on families, businesses and entire communities across the country, with a particular focus on Tenbury Wells. A central theme of the documentary is the growing problem of uninsurability, as many towns find flood insurance either unaffordable or unavailable.

Organisers said: "We invite local people, councillors, business owners and community leaders to watch the film, and discuss the real world solutions available to Tenbury Wells and other flood affected towns across the UK."

Advance booking is essential and can be made via the online form at forms.gle/1qiyqkRPW4ZTNXnJ7.
